When this is the right fit

  • Multilogin users adding authenticated HTTP or SOCKS5 endpoints
  • Teams managing stable proxy assignments across browser profiles
  • Operators who verify each endpoint before creating the profile

Consider another approach when

This guide covers the custom proxy fields, not fingerprint selection, browser automation, or Multilogin account permissions.

Multilogin connection checklist

  1. 1

    Get the connection

Copy host, port, username, and password for the assigned proxy.

  2. 2

    Create or edit a profile

Open the profile's proxy section and choose the custom option.

  3. 3

    Fill the fields

Select HTTP or SOCKS5 and enter the credentials exactly.

  4. 4

    Wait for the result

Multilogin checks automatically; save after Proxy check passed appears.

1. Copy the endpoint string

Get the assigned IP or host, port, username, and password. Multilogin accepts IP:port:login:password, or IP:port for endpoints without credentials.

2. Open the custom proxy option

Open Profile settings, choose Proxy, then Custom. For a temporary Quick profile, use Dashboard, Quick, Proxy Custom, and One proxy.

3. Select and paste

Choose HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 to match your connection, then paste the endpoint string in the custom proxy field.

4. Wait for the automatic result

Multilogin checks the connection automatically. Save only after it shows Proxy check passed; resolve any Proxy check failed result first.
