What is a Subnet?
A subnet is a range of IP addresses that share a common prefix. IPs in the same subnet are likely from the same source or location.
TL;DR: Diverse subnets = IPs that appear unrelated. Same subnet = IPs that look connected. For multi-account work, subnet diversity matters.
Why Subnet Diversity Matters
Platforms detect related accounts by:
- Same IP subnet
- Sequential IP addresses
- Common network fingerprints
If your 10 accounts all use IPs from the same /24 subnet, they look obviously connected.
Subnet Notation
- /24 subnet: 256 IPs (xxx.xxx.xxx.0-255)
- /16 subnet: 65,536 IPs (xxx.xxx.0.0-255.255)
Example:
- 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.100 = Same /24 subnet
- 192.168.1.1 and 192.200.50.1 = Different subnets
Subnet Diversity for Accounts
For multi-account management:
- One account per /24 subnet minimum
- Different ISPs when possible
- Geographic distribution helps
NobleProxy Subnets
Our IPs come from diverse:
- ISP networks
- Geographic locations
- Subnet ranges
This natural diversity improves account safety for multi-account operations.
